COVID-19 Response

We at Logican have taken many actions since March 2 to insure that we are able to continue the manufacturing services our customers have come to expect over the years.

As of this writing NO Logican Technologies Employee has been confirmed through testing to be COVID-19 infected.

We have taken the following steps

    • Customer Service, Procurement and Accounting are working from Home, with full access to the IT facilities to perform their functions
    • Approximately 50% of Manufacturing personnel on the day shift have been reassigned on the afternoon shift to allow for Social Distancing and a lower density of staff in both operations and common areas.
    • Additional staff allocated to the cleaning and disinfecting of common use surfaces (telephones, computer keyboards, mice, touch screens, door handles) on both shifts.
    • Visitors – Suppliers have been instructed to cancel all planned visits to Logican facilities
    • Visitors – Customers have been requested to cancel or at least minimize any visits to Logican
    • Video and Tele conferencing is being promoted and used.
    • Any employee returning to Canada from an international site is mandated to Self-Isolate for 14 days. This was put in affect for anybody returning since March 9th, 2020

Logican Management meets daily to insure

    • Employees are reporting on their potential exposure to COVID-19
      • What Degree of contact?
      • Is testing done or scheduled?
      • Continued follow-up on condition
    • Review status of supplies required for intensive cleaning regime
    • Review and act on any new government policies
    • Address any communication requirements with employees and customers

We believe that the above steps will assist in mitigating the impact to our manufacturing services. We are planning on the continuation of all manufacturing services, but must be prepared to take whatever steps are necessary to protect our employees and their families.

We understand your position and the definition of an essential businesses for your company and we will make every effort to keep supplies moving in a normal manner.
