Mike Melle is the CEO and one of the founders of Logican Technologies which has its roots in LSI Logic Corporation. As CEO,Mike is the driving force to create a leading edge, cost competitive and high quality manufacturing service. He graduated from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute with a diploma in Aerospace Engineering and advanced computer science. Mike began his work in the industry with Exceltronix in 1982 and moved out west in 1988 to join LSI Logic. Mike envisions that Logican will continue to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations for quality, flexibility and cost. Mike has a personal passion for learning and growth; he wants our employees to have many opportunities for educational advancement.

Renato Lumague is currently the President of Logican Technologies, overseeing the day to day operations of the plant, focusing mainly on production.
Renato’s tenure with Logican started 18 years ago in the Purchasing Department as a Buyer/Planner;
his commodities included Passives, Semiconductors, Printed Circuit Boards, and Production Consumables.
He moved to Operations in 2010 and became Operations Manager in 2012.
He was promoted to President in June of 2017.

Naveed Ahmed is our CFO, graduated in Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Naveed started with the company as account payables supervisor in 2000 and moved to assistant controller and then to Financial Controller. Naveed was promoted to CFO in June 2017.
Prior to working with Logican he worked with hospitality industries from 1993 -2000 as a food & beverage and financial controller.

Planning and Customer Service Manager
Sheldon Bekolay is the Planning and Customer Service Manager at Logican Technologies. Sheldon began work in this facility back in 1990 when it was a Nano Technology company called LSI Logic. He worked on the Silicon Wafer Fabrication Test floor as well as an SMD Operator. When LSI Logic was sold to the LogiCan group in 1994 he continued his work as an SMD Operator. Sheldon climbed the ranks filling the positions of SMD Manager, Team Leader, General Production Manager, and Quality Manager.
Darren Krawchuk started with our company as a “Wave” Machine Operator in 1997. Since then he has climbed the ranks to his current position. As Engineering Manager, Darren manages special projects, explores new technology, maintains our processes, and develops new company engineering procedures. Darren graduated from The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology with a diploma in Bio-Medical Electronics Engineering Technologies. Darren strives to exceed the quality standards, efficiency, innovations and customer service within Logican. He also believes that one should always take great pride in their work.
Business Development Manager
Patrick Lee is the Business Development Manager at Logican Technologies. He originally began work at the company in 1992 as a shipper receiver and progressed to SMD Team Leader before leaving in 1996 to further his education. He earned his diploma in Mechanical Engineering at The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Pat returned to Logican in March of 2014 after working in project management and sales in the oil and gas industry.

Facilities & Maintenance Manager
Xavier Yu is currently the Engineering Equipment Manager at Logican Technologies. He graduated with Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma, Computer Repair Technician and PACE certificates and Electronics Engineering Technologist Diploma. Xavier started out as an afternoon shift QC operator back in 1994 just when Logican started. Soon after that, he is recruited by late Perry Rugulies into Engineering as Test Support. In 2000, engineering divided into Manufacturing and Maintenance, Xavier took on the role as the Engineering Equipment Manager on the Maintenance side of Engineering.
